Phoebe A. Hearst Elementary School
2020 National Blue Ribbon School Awardee
We are so excited for the school year, Dragon Fam, and hope you are too! It is going to be amazing – full of fun, community, growth, and learning!
Throughout the year we will be updating the calendar, and communicating news and plans for all of the events that bring us together! Here is a quick look ahead with our At a Glance Calendar for 2025/2026! Get the PDF here!
We are so excited for our school year to begin, and to welcome all our Dragon Families back on campus!!!
We are sorry to announce that OPEN HOUSE is postponed!
We have been working closely with our facilities team for the past week to address a flea infestation. Impacted areas of campus were treated last week with a natural pest control product that unfortunately has not worked. SCUSD’s pest control staff visited our campus on Monday and determined that we need to move forward with a stronger synthetic product.
Due to the extent of the spraying and to comply with the required advance notice, we have decided to postpone Wednesday’s Open House to a later date. Once a date is determined you will be notified.
A hearty thank you to everyone who came out to vote for our board, and for all of the members!
Please do not stop reaching out to participate in our fundraising, and working to help fulfill our mission of creating the most dynamic and enriching educational experience for all the children at Phoebe!
