Bike Bus is Back!

Calling all Phoebe Hearst parent/student bike enthusiasts!

Our BIKE BUS Social will be on Sunday 4/26 at 3 PM @ SacYard Brewing!

Come out to meet fellow riders, bring your kids, and your bikes… a bike mechanic will be there to help tune up any bikes that need a little love!!!

What is Bike Bus you ask? Great question! Imagine a school of fish swimming down M St. in the morning starting at 35th & M St. at 7:30am and gaining mass as more fish waiting on the street corners tag in and join the group as it makes its way down M Street. Only instead of fish, it’s parents and kids riding bikes together to Phoebe Hearst Elementary. 

All bike riders enter together and park their bikes at the racks behind the cafeteria. A group of parent volunteers ride alongside the group to supervise and bike ahead to block off traffic at busier streets along the route.
