About our PTO: Empowering Education Through Innovation and Community!
The Phoebe Hearst Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is dedicated to enriching your child’s educational journey! The PTO supports enrichment in many ways, including STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), visual arts, music, field trips, and campus beautification.
Who We Are: The PTO is a passionate group of parents and educators who believe in the power of a well-rounded education. Our hope is to foster a love for learning, innovation, critical thinking, and artistic expression among our students. We are a community that is interested in an impactful experience for our kids. Our principal, Mr. Martin, recently said we are a ‘school of choice’ and are invested in providing an ‘equitable and rigorous education.’
How It’s Done: Through fundraisers we channel our resources toward supporting our students and faculty. Our fall Jog-A-Thon, and our springtime auction gala, The Event, are the two pillars of our fundraising efforts. In addition, we have a monthly Dine & Donate program that helps us create community and support teacher needs.

Get Involved: Join us in making a lasting impact on your child’s education. Participate in our fundraisers, volunteer your time, or lend your expertise to our projects. You are an essential part of the Phoebe Hearst community.
