Science Night

Friday, March 7th, 2014 | 6-8pm | Multi-purpose Room

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and explore the world of science? If the answer is yes, then come join us on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 6-8pm in the Phoebe Hearst Multi-Purpose Room for loads of hands on science experiments.

Kids will have the opporutnity to learn about:

  • Sound
  • Optical Illusions
  • Chemical Reactions
  • Electricity
  • Entomology (bugs)
  • Star Gazing
  • Water
  • Geology & more!

Parent volunteers are needed to be “Master Scientist” and help kids run the experiments. (No science background required.) If you are interested in helping, please contact Jennifer Toone at [email protected].

Volunteers needed to:

  • Setup 4:30-6pm
  • Floater 6-8pm
  • Master Scientist 6-8pm
  • Clean Up 8-9pm
  • Provide Supplies
