Good evening, Phoebe families,
This month’s Social Emotional Learning theme is Perseverance. Please take a moment to read over the parent resource link that has many helpful at-home tips for talking to your children about perseverance.
Phoebe Spelling Bee
You have heard the buzz and we are excited to announce that the Phoebe Hearst Spelling Bee is back! This virtual event will take place over the course of the next few weeks as students work to become the 2020-21 PhoeBee champion. Throughout this week, students will have a chance to review lists and study words before our first round of grade-level competitions, which will be conducted via Zoom, the week of December 14. The top spellers from each grade will advance to our school-wide event held the week of January 4 when we return from Winter Break. We will work off of the attached Scripps National Spelling Bee lists. In order for your student to participate, please fill out the form available below or through the link here. If you have questions or would like additional information, please email email@example.com.
