Phoebe LOVE & Yearbook Orders

Good morning Phoebe families,

My hopes are that you are well and safe.  We are close to finishing our first week of distance learning.  The goal this week is to get students settled into a routine.  Our staff wanted to share some Dragon love with all of our students and families.  We put together a video with special messages to our students.

The 2019-2020 Yearbook is now available online.  Though the year may have been cut short, we still have an 80 page book filled with photos and memories of the first 6 months.  If you would like to purchase a yearbook, they are $20 and limited in number.  We are only selling 400, so you will want to get in there and buy it as soon as possible. The deadline to purchase is April 27th. Just follow the link and enter the school code given.
School Yearbook ID Code:  10652220
If you have already purchased one, we have your order and you are good to go.  If you can’t remember if you have purchased one or just simply want to confirm, please contact Yuliya Vathis at
Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Dear Phoebe Parents and Families:

Thank you again for your continued patience as we navigate through this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis. We realize that our students have had a major disruption in their educational process. We appreciate your support and patience while we work through these uncertain times together.

When picking up your student’s computer, please:

  • Drivers: Remain in your vehicles and wait patiently to be served for safety and social distancing.
  • Walkers: If you must walk, please keep and adhere to the 6-foot distance rule as you approach the check-out station.

Those checking out the device must review our Annual Parent and Student Rights Notification and Standards of Behavior, and sign the Student Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement (Spanish Version – needs to be downloaded and attached)

We realize internet / Wi-Fi connectivity at home will be essential to the distance learning experience. More information for free and affordable internet service for our community can be found at:

Please visit our website if your student needs assistance re-setting their Infinite Campus / Clever password: You can also email our support desk at:

Again, we appreciate your patience and partnership as we navigate this unprecedented crisis.

SCUSD Update on School Closure

Dear Sac City Unified Parents and Families:

Today, the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE), with the full support of Sacramento County Public Health (SCPH), announced that the closure period for schools will be extended through the end of our academic year on June 11, 2020 as part of the effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

From Superintendent Aguilar:

“Unprecedented times call for extraordinary action and we are committed to doing all we can to meet our student’s needs. We’re disappointed that our students won’t return to campus this year, but we assure you that our classes are not over. Our team is working round the clock to implement a robust distance learning plan that will benefit all of our students by April 13.”

During the school closure period, school nutrition programs will continue to serve student meals. Meal distribution will continue during the week of April 6 which would normally be the district’s spring break.

We recognize this a difficult time for the Sac City Unified community. We thank you for your patience as we navigate through this health crisis together. We want to assure you that we are working around the clock to establish a distance learning plan so that all of our students can continue their education until schools reopen.

Sac City Unified will continue to keep the community updated throughout this fluid situation. Facts and circumstances may change quickly and we will regularly post updates and resources for families to our website at
