School Site Council Nomination

Nominations are now open for the Phoebe Hearst Elementary School Site Council. The Site Council is the school’s advisory group, composed of 6 faculty and 6 parents who meet bi-monthly and are responsible for advising the school principal on issues related to school policy, budgeting decisions, and constructing the plan for the future of the school. In essence, the School Site Council acts as a mini-school board for Phoebe Hearst Elementary and the student body. Site Council members are elected to 2-year terms.

For the 2014-15 school year, we have 2 vacancies for parent alternate positions. Alternate positions are non-voting. However, alternates will automatically become voting members the following year, unless we have a member leave the council mid-year.
